Kenton Cool – Mountaineer, Mountain Guide and Performance Coach
Kenton is one of the world’s leading mountaineers who has a deep love for the big mountains, having climbed extensively around the world, including rock faces and peaks in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His mountaineering achievements are all the more astonishing when we learn that he was told he would never walk unaided again, after a serious climbing accident in his early twenties.Kenton has spent much of his mountaineering career in the Himalayas, specifically Nepal. In May 2025, he summited Mount Everest for the 19th time, a non-Sherpa record and an achievement that gained Worldwide media coverage.
He will speak to us about the lessons he has learnt in the mountains, touching on leadership, teamwork, communication, courage and community.

Neil Parker, Head of Economics and Market Strategy
Neil is Head of Economics and Market Strategy at Moneycorp, bringing over three decades of experience in banking and financial markets. His expertise spans macroeconomics, foreign exchange, interest rates, and geopolitics across major global economies.Throughout his career, Neil has delivered timely, concise market insights to clients ranging from SMEs to multinationals, with a recent focus on mid-corporate and private equity clients in the UK, Europe, and the Channel Islands. Simon Nabb, Ex-CEO & Co-Founder
Simon Mabb, is the co-founder and former CEO of Booking Protect, the refund protection insurtech he launched in 2014 and scaled into a global market leader before its sale in 2022.Over eight years, Simon led the business from early-stage start-up to a trusted partner for major ticketing, theatre and travel brands, including LW Theatres, Ticketmaster and leading UK self-catering platforms. He played a central role in shaping refund protection as a viable ancillary product, navigating early challenges around insurer capacity, evolving regulation and market adoption at a time when booking protection was still emerging. Simon also steered the business through the unprecedented disruption of COVID-19, maintaining partnerships and capacity during a period of intense industry pressure.
Following the acquisition by Cover Genius in 2022, Simon remained with the business as a consultant for a further 12 months. He now shares insights on building insurtech businesses, securing underwriting support, and scaling protection products globally.

Ted Jones, Founder & Chairman
Ted Jones is the Founder & Chairman of Northcott Global Solutions (NGS) Ltd. Ted started his career as a professional sportsman, competing at two World Championships before joining the Irish Guards in 1998. Operational Tours of Macedonia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Iraq & Northern Ireland followed before joining a specialist Kidnap & Ransom Underwriter within Lloyds. After a brief spell as a PI broker he was commissioned to set up the operational side of a medical evacuation company in Amman, Jordon looking at super high threat environments.
In 2010 he set up NGS to fill the operational & geographical gaps in the traditional assistance market. The model, based on the much faster, more robust and multi-dimensional military ‘Casevac’ capability has, after 16 years and with over 25,000 cases completed, run on a median complaints rate of zero. The company prides itself on speed with the motto, ‘minutes & hours, not days & weeks,’ with the consequent savings made on Claims.
In 2020 NGS received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Jon Radford of the Insurance Fraud Bureau
Jon became Head of Intelligence, Investigations & Data Services for the Insurance Fraud Bureau in January 2023 and is responsible for the day to day running of the IFB’s teams across all departments executing delivery of services to all of its members and the wider insurance industry.
Prior to his role at the IFB, Jon joined QBE in 2007 and in 2012 joined the then newly created SIU team where he was responsible for handling complex fraudulent claims and implementing new fraud strategies to the UK Property, Casualty and Motor divisions. Jon handled QBE’s very first custodial sentence claim via IFED and ran QBE’s first tort of deceit and exemplary damages court action against an organised crime group. In 2016, Jon seconded to QBE’s Australian Operation in Sydney to set up their claim’s fraud team and future fraud strategy which led to the beginnings of a more joined up global fraud strategy. Jon became Head of Claims Fraud for QBE European Operations in 2017 and was responsible for fraud strategy management for all lines of business across all of QBE’s European and Asian territories.
Jon who has over 27 years’ experience in the insurance fraud environment began his career at Equity Redstar in 1999. Jon has amassed a wealth of industry knowledge across all classes of business from many different global territories as well as and representing different organisations on various industry committees delivering work that has helped support and benefit the whole insurance industry.

Kate Morgan-Baker, Senior Manager
Kate Morgan-Baker is a Senior Manager at Faculty and works at the epicentre of AI, Insurance, and user-centric design. As a 15+ year Consultant and certified Design Thinking Facilitator, she helps C-suite and Senior Executives creatively unpack and tackle core business problems through the lens of both AI and human capability. Kate works primarily with financial institutions, helping them to develop and evolve their AI roadmaps in support of core business strategies. Educated in both America and the UK, she has worked in London since 2007, first as an Insurance Broker before spending many years at Accenture in both strategy and delivery roles.
Kate joined Faculty to work with an established name at the forefront of AI delivery and to explore complex business challenges with some of the very best technical talent in the UK. In that role, she is tackling the existential question of how to shape the workforce of the future with AI at its core, without losing the humanity at its heart.

William Trump, Founder
William Trump is the Founder of Unconventional Wisdon, a behavioural science consultancy that helps insurers improve their results with a deeper understanding of the psychology of their customers. William is a pioneer of Behavioural Science in the insurance industry. During his 14 years at Swiss Re, he set up the first Behavioural Science unit – and since then he has overseen more than 300 real-world experiments, applying the principles of psychology to create uplifts in sales, retention and even underwriting honesty.
